We are seeking a talented UI developer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. You will work closely with our design team to implement their vision and ensure seamless user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
Requirements:
- Proven UI experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating design skills
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
- Experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
- Experience with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as SASS or LESS
- Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field
- Certification in UI/UX design is a plus
